Need advice regarding dart shafts

Post by 420DartFan » Tue Jan 06, 2015 1:18 pm

Hi Darts-Community!

One month ago me and my flatmates decided to buy a dart board with some darts to play. After using them a lot most of the shafts broke (they were cheap plastic darts), so I´ve decided to buy some quality darts.

Here is a link of the new Darts: http://goo.gl/bG40WR

The problem is that during the first match with them, one of the darts dropped and the part where you put the flight in is now broken.

Here is a pic: http://i.imgur.com/EE3mgpp.png

Since that I am thinking of buying some titanium shafts, because I don´t want this to happen again.

Now I need help to decide what shaft to buy, because I don´t really know anything about that. Does the size of the shaft matter? Is titanium what i need? Which model should i get?

Thank you in advance!

Nobody can really tell you what stems to use, only you can decide through trial and error mate. There are so many deciding factors, weight, how they land in the board etc. We are all different and what's good for one, may be totally different for another. I would suggest something similar to this, then you can try all sizes etc. Hope this helps :)

Id recommend trying both the small and the medium size of the deflectagrip stems

Why ? Well theyre cheapest on the market and are the ones ive found most players use inc the pros
they also last long as don't break at all easy , shall last yrs if you purchase 10xsets of such
and they sell such in the different colours black, white, blue, green, red, yellow.

But as some say above its all about trial and error until you have found the stem which suits you.

All the best in finding the set for yourself .
