Would you get coaching from a professional? Is it worth the money?

As nice as it would be to get coached by a legend, paying £200 for four hours mean i'd rather just practice on my own for that length of time and keep the money.

i saw this on facebook too and whilst yes it would be nice to spend a few hours with him for 200 quid i think provided you have a basic grasp of dart mechanics, aiming straight and true contrary to what many think they are throwing then unless he has a doctorate in psychology then he will not be able to influence your game a great deal. all the information is out there and free of charge but had i the money i wouldnt mind spending the evening in the company of greatness

One on one coaching is fab. In fact I'm waiting outside to go to mine now. Not darts. I wouldn't be sitting here if it was £200 though.
(The instructor just came out and spotted me smoking in the van, rekon he's gonna make me pay for that this evening, oops)

He kicked me for smoking last week. I told him my mate had said it was one thing or the other. His response was 'well let's find out'. Two rounds in I found out!
