138 – Keith’s favourite 3 dart checkout

Post by Jonny » Fri Aug 22, 2014 3:44 pm

As you’ll see in the attachment, there are 35 different ways to checkout 138. If you had 3 attempts at each combination, how many can you hit?

I’m going to try this myself later on tonight… just wondered if anyone else fancied a go.

Tried twice and failed twice... D12 final dart let me down a bunch of times.

Might have another attempt tomorrow.

Keep trying Jonny. If you nail it on the next attempt that will be a 66% checkout rate. Capable of winning many tournaments

Do you have a card for 182 Jonny? I heard someone hit it once and someone else told a darts historian all about it...

Dear Johnny, the universally accepted method to take out 138 is T20, T18, D12.

Quite why t20, t16, t15 is the route in bold is beyond me.

Have seen those cards before and they are a nice little stocking filler

I thought this too, this cracker must have a penchant for uncuttable doubles.
