Well I'd like to report something to add to this thread but between Grazer, MH and myself we couldn't manage to hit one between us yesterday.

If there was a prize for throwing the shittest of shit darts I'd have been there. You two didn't chuck that bad scoring wise to be honest

3 this afternoon, well seeing it is the league singles tonight and I'm doing a bit of practice

won a new set of darts (PL comp) and got them saturday.
target's phil taylor 9zero's. 24 gram.

they come with the plastic (nylon?) PRO GRIP shafts.
I've always shot with aluminum, but I'm giving the set up they came with a try.
usually I just remove everything and put my set up on immediately.

what purpose does the small metal rings serve?

within 5 minutes of throwing, a flight popped off & I spent the next 5 minutes searching
on the floor for the little metal ring. found it and put it back on.

I managed to break all 3 rings that day during play.
did hit a ton eighty Saturday night in competiion with them though.

so what purpose does the small metal rings serve?
Am I doing something wrong? groups too tight or something?
the darts didn't come with directions.

(9 count on the 15's & a 152 double in with the new darts.,,
