Maidenhead mixed pairs

Post by Cooking with Sanchez » Fri May 06, 2011 12:04 pm

Me and the missus (England youth player....legal so I'm not a paedo) played my local pairs competition on Wednesday.

First round got drawn against my team captain, went 1-0 up and then he started walking back at me to stop me throwing at my normal pace.

Bit of a cunt's trick and I hate to admit it got to me and we lost the second leg, and were on 144 when they needed 32 in the deciding leg.

Luckily she took out the 144 and we dropped no more legs all night, winning the final 3-0.

Her twin sister, also England youth, lost in the semi with my mate which was great because I think they'd have given us a much harder game in the final.

Got me a bit of confidence back, I hit 4 180s on the night and played awesome in the final.

Happy days.

Also, we're playing Oxfordshire on the weekend and it'll be mine and her last game for Bedfordshire as we're going to Bucks next year.

What's the odds she gets Deta?

When you say she's legal.......

Four 180's in a night, you make me sick.
Good luck against Oxfordshire FoB and if your missus is playing Deta then get her to whisper 'Jack sends his love' in her ear as she's throwing.
She'll probably miss the board completely.

Haha will do!

I don't wish to brag too much but I had 46 in practice that day.

I've been struggling with my darts for 6 months but they're slowly coming back to what I like them to be.

At super league last Friday I had a 22 average but the legs were 34, 14 and 18. Go figure.

I don't think I've hit 46 in my life!

Had back to back 180s at superleague and hit the 7th treble, the attempt at treble 19 was closer to the double!

As soon as you stop caring when you hit them you'll hit more.

I dont get worked up when i've hit the first two to be honest mate. 140's do me fine. I know when i started it's a big thing and maybe even paused on the third to concentrate harder which is wrong, just keep the same pace.
